7. Progression - Instagram

7.1 mindmap

One of the transmedia from the campaign is the instagram. We used Instagram as a platform to reveal one of the character’s daily lives. Therefore, before start with the illustration and execution, we have a brainstorming session using mindmap to have a rough idea on what content to be inserted in the instagram, how it would works.

7.2 the idea (content)

We had discussion and finalized the idea. What we did for the next step is having a draft sketch on the content of Instagram, as in what to show and the captions. It’s indeed a process where we put lots of efforts too since it’s also part of the storyline for the campaign. Hence, there are few rounds of trial and error to improve the contents of Instagram.

- Post 7 : I cried in office toilet today and I saw a new staff who impressed me, I'm really envy of her

- post 8 : Saw this tattoo picture in my phone. P.S I feel the essential oil necklace have stronger scent 

these days, not sure why it will be like that. Kinda weird but it's okay, the smells are good and motivated me to love myself and be myself

- post 9 : A busy and tiring day today after office work. Need to dress up nicely everyday for my job 

scope really makes me tired.....

- post 10 : Found this illustration that I did in my notebook, and wanted to convert it into my tattoo collection !

- post 11 : Why it could be so hard to show who I am?

- post 12 : It isn't fair, love has no boundaries.....

- post 13 : Telling myself to be who I am, and it surprisingly let me feels better these weeks and days. 

Wondering what makes me have such motivation.

- post 14 : It's weird but I started to feel motivated since I have the essential oil necklace, wondering 

so many whys in my head. But, I felt motivated to do things I love now, enjoy being it , not 

to care about the assumptions on my tattoo. Fighting!

- post 15 : It's been a while to update here in my ig. But things change... I keep wondering who I am 

for a period of time, wondering what I want, how's life should be. I have secrets, and many 

of you realized, given me as many assumptions and doubts as everyone else could. So

7.3 progression

Of course there are trials and errors, illustrations were created during the process of building the instagram for one’s character. Before putting all stuff into Instagram, we did illustrations for the scene & daily lives of that character.

After finishing with illustrations, the illustrations and captions are uploaded to Instagram. In fact, the clues and hints were all hidden in the caption message, stories or the illustrations. 

   

figure 5 : there are posts that record the lives or emotion of one’s character, captions and highlights were also added into it. Participants may search the clues through the captions or illustrations.
